Teams are working on building their prototypes! Posters and health education pieces are mostly ready too – exciting!
The week of 4/29 will be mostly building prototypes to demonstrate the solutions that the 10 teams came up with. Some of them used play dough, some duct tape, and 3d-printed parts are there too. Check out the pictures below, from several teams.
Throughout the project phase (last third of the semester) teams met up in and outside of class, sometimes in the Mix@Fenwick, to work on their engineering projects.
Dr. Fleming receives her second teaching award (the first one was in 2015) for great teaching at Mason! On April 15th, Dr. Poms and Peixoto took that opportunity to congratulate Dr. Fleming and taste some great Mason wine. (Only one glass though, as it was a Monday).
Teams received their main problems and are working on further defining what they want to address. They are making decision matrices and posting on their websites!
